Promo and tracking links
Promo links let you measure where your sales come from — an influencer, a partner, a newsletter or a paid ad — so you know which channels are worth your budget.
1. Create a promo link
Go to Promo links in the dashboard and create a new link. Give it:
- A slug — the short tag that appears in the URL, for example
partner-radio. - A label — a friendly name so you recognise it in your reports.
- A target — one specific event, or all your events.
2. Share the link
Append the slug to your event URL as a ref parameter:
your-event-url?ref=your-slug
Hand that link to the partner or channel you want to track. Every click is counted, and any order placed through the link is attributed to it.
3. Read the results
Each promo link shows its clicks and the orders attributed to it, so you can compare channels side by side.
Tip: Because attribution travels with the link itself — there is no tracking cookie — promo links are privacy-friendly and need no cookie consent.
