The checkout experience
This is what a ticket buyer goes through on your public event page, step by step.
1. Choose tickets and add-ons
The customer picks their ticket types and quantities. The amounts they can choose respect any max-per-order limit and the sales window you set, so they can't buy more than you allow or order outside the on-sale dates. After tickets, they can pick any add-ons you offer.
2. Apply codes
Buyers can enter a discount code to lower the price, or an access code to unlock hidden tickets that aren't shown by default.
3. Enter details
They fill in their email and name, then choose personal or business. Business adds a company name and VAT number to the invoice. They also enter a billing address.
4. Consent and language
They must accept your privacy policy before continuing, and can opt in to marketing. Age-restricted events ask for parent or guardian consent. The buyer picks a language (NL, FR or EN), which sets the language of their email and the date and number formats.
Tip: A short, clear privacy policy keeps this step fast. Buyers who hesitate at consent are a common cause of abandoned checkouts.
5. Pay
Finally, they pay. Once payment succeeds, they land on the confirmation page and receive their tickets.
