Buyers don't need to email you when they misplace a ticket — they can help themselves.

Finding their tickets

Customers go to your-slug.cleartix.io/my-tickets and enter the email they used at checkout. To confirm it's really them, a secure magic link is sent to that address. Clicking it opens their tickets — no password to remember.

What they can do

From there a buyer can:

  1. View and re-download their tickets and wallet passes.
  2. Transfer a ticket to someone else.

Transferring a ticket

When a customer transfers a ticket, a transfer link is generated. They send it to the new attendee, who accepts it and receives a fresh ticket in their own name. The link expires after about 72 hours, so it can't be reused indefinitely.

Tip: Point ticket buyers to My tickets in your event communications. It quietly removes most "I lost my ticket" and "can my friend go instead?" emails before they ever reach you.
