Customising emails
Cleartix sends several emails automatically. Under Emails you can make each one sound like your organisation.
Which emails you can edit
You can customise every system email:
- Ticket confirmation
- Event reminder
- Follow-up after the event
- Event cancellation
- Waitlist notification
- Wire-transfer instructions
- Payment request
Note: Reminder and follow-up emails automatically include an opt-out link in the footer, so recipients can always stop receiving them — you don't need to add one to your template.
Defaults and per-event overrides
Edit your organisation-wide defaults so every event uses the same wording — and keep a version in NL, FR and EN, so each customer is emailed in their own language. When one event needs different text, override a template for that single event; the override applies only there, and everything else keeps the defaults.
Edit everything with the rich-text editor — headings, bold, links and lists, no code required.
Variables
Templates support variables that fill in automatically per recipient, such as the buyer's name, the event title, the ticket details and the event date. Insert a variable and each email is personalised on send.
Tip: To change who the email comes from — your own sender name and domain — set up Email sender. Templates control the content; the sender controls the address.
