Edit, publish and cancel events
Every event moves through a few clear statuses. This guide explains how to edit one and how the status flow works.
Editing an event
Go to Events → (your event) → Edit to change any detail — title, description, dates, capacity or toggles. Your changes apply immediately, including to events that are already published.
Publishing
A new event starts as a draft, visible only to you. When you're ready, switch it from draft → published in the Publication panel of the event form. The event then becomes publicly visible and bookable on your event page.
Preview before you publish. While an event is still a draft it isn't publicly visible, but you can see exactly how its public page will look: go to Events → (your event) and click Preview public page. It opens the real event page in a new tab — only you can see it — so you can check images, description and ticket types before going live.
Tip: Before publishing, double-check your ticket types and sales windows — once you're live, anything bookable can be sold straight away.
Cancelling
If an event can't go ahead, move it from published → cancelled. Cancelling automatically refunds all tickets, so you don't have to process refunds one by one. Let your attendees know separately what's happening.
Past events
After the end date passes, an event automatically becomes past. It stays in your dashboard for reporting and exports, but is no longer on sale.
Bulk actions from templates
If you created events from a template, you can bulk-schedule or bulk-cancel them together — handy for a recurring series. See Templates for how that works.
