The onboarding checklist

After you sign up, your dashboard shows an onboarding checklist in three phases. Only the current phase is expanded, with one highlighted Start button for the next step, so you always see exactly one thing to do. The header counts the steps you still need before you can sell tickets.

Right above the checklist, the Your ticket shop card shows the public address where your events go live (your-slug.cleartix.io, or your custom domain once connected). Copy it from there whenever you need to share it. You also received it in your welcome email.

Phase 1: Publish your first event

Start opens the guided wizard: type, basics, tickets, look, publish, in five short screens. The wizard checks payments and your privacy policy right before publishing, so you can start here even if phase 2 isn't done yet. The quick-start guide walks you through it.

Phase 2: Get paid

Two things every shop needs before the first order. Both are required; the checklist and the publish check use the same rules.

• Connect a payment method under Settings → Payments: Stripe or Mollie (secure OAuth, payouts to your own account) or bank wire transfer (your bank details at checkout, confirmed manually). Without one, paid tickets can't be sold.
• Publish your privacy policy under Settings → Legal. As organizer you are the data controller for your attendees' personal data, so a policy must be available at checkout. No policy yet? Generate one from a template in a few questions, see Legal and privacy settings.

Phase 3: Make it yours

Optional polish, in any order:

• Company details (legal name, VAT number, address) for correct platform-fee invoices and VAT.
• Brand (logo, colors) on your shop, tickets and emails.
• Ticket email wording that sounds like you.
• Locations you reuse across events, with address and map.
