Your account: profile, password and security
Your account is personal: it belongs to you, not to an organisation, and the same settings apply to every organisation you're a member of. Open it by clicking your name or email address at the bottom of the sidebar.
Name and language
- Name — shown in the sidebar and in the team list, so colleagues can see who's who. Optional.
- Language — the language of the dashboard and of the emails Cleartix sends you.
- Organization on sign-in — if you belong to more than one organisation, choose which one opens when you sign in.
Change your email address
You sign in with your email address, so changing it takes two steps:
- Under Email address, click Change, enter the new address and confirm with your current password.
- Open the link we send to the new address. Only then does the change take effect — until that moment you keep signing in with your old address.
We also send a notice to your old address. The link is valid for 24 hours; you can cancel a pending change on the same page.
Change your password
Enter your current password and the new one twice. A password needs at least 8 characters, an uppercase letter and a number. Changing your password signs you out on every other device, and we email you a confirmation.
Forgot your password? Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page instead.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
With 2FA, signing in also asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, …).
- Click Enable 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with your app, or type in the key.
- Enter the code the app shows.
To turn 2FA off, click Disable 2FA and enter a current code.
Tip: We recommend 2FA for every owner — they can change payouts and invite people.
Scanner PIN
A 4-digit PIN lets you sign back in to the scanner app on a device you've used before without typing your full password. Set, change or remove it under Scanner PIN. See Signing in to the scanner.
Active sessions
Active sessions lists every device where you're signed in, with browser, device and IP address. Click Sign out next to a session you don't recognise, or Sign out all other sessions to keep only the device you're using now.
Delete your account
Under Delete account you can permanently delete your account. Confirm with your password (and your 2FA code if it's on).
- You are removed from every organisation.
- Events, orders and check-ins stay with the organisations; your name and email are removed from them.
- This can't be undone.
You can't delete your account while you're the only owner of an organisation. Make another team member owner first — see Team & roles.
Note: When a Cleartix admin is viewing your account for support, these settings are read-only.
