Your subdomain and custom domain

Every organisation gets a free subdomain where your event pages live, and on the Pro plan you can serve them on your own domain instead.

Your free subdomain

As soon as you create your organisation you get a subdomain at your-slug.cleartix.io. This is where your public event pages are served, and it works straight away with no setup.

Connect a custom domain (Pro)

On the Pro plan you can connect your own custom domain so event pages are served on your brand:

1. Add your domain in settings.
2. Cleartix shows you a CNAME record to create.
3. Add that CNAME record at your domain provider (where your DNS is managed).
4. Once Cleartix verifies the record, your event pages are served on your own domain.

Verifying

Verification confirms you own the domain. DNS changes can take a little while to propagate, so if the check doesn't pass immediately, wait and try again.
