Event templates for recurring events
If you run the same kind of event again and again, a template saves you re-creating the setup every time.
What a template stores
A template holds the reusable parts of an event:
- Ticket types
- Gates
- Access codes
- Email overrides
1. Create a template
Go to Templates → New template and configure the ticket types, gates, access codes and email overrides you want to reuse.
2. Schedule events from it
From a template you can schedule new events — including in bulk, so a whole season of dates is created at once. You can also apply the template to events that already exist.
What gets copied
When an event is created from a template, all of the template's ticket types, gates, access codes and email overrides are copied onto it. From there you can still tweak each individual event as needed.
Tip: Build the template once with your standard pricing and check-in gates, then schedule the full season in one go.
Costs, tasks and notes travel too
Saving an event as a template also stores its manual expenses as recurring cost lines, its action items as standard tasks with deadlines relative to the start, and its pinned internal notes. Every event scheduled from the template starts with them.
